This self-paced online course provides essential knowledge for safely and effectively operating woodworking machines used in general fabrication and furniture production. You’ll learn how to follow SOPs, determine job requirements, prepare and set up materials, and operate a range of woodworking machines in line with industry standards.
The course also covers inspection, machine adjustments, basic maintenance, and safe clean-up procedures in compliance with workplace health and safety (WHS) and environmental standards. This course is ideal for entry-level workers, apprentices, and learners starting in carpentry, cabinet making, or wood product manufacturing.
