This course is designed for students and tradespeople who already have basic welding skills and want to improve their ability using the Manual Metal Arc Welding (MMAW) process, also known as stick welding. You’ll learn how to perform high-quality welds on different metals, in various positions, and under challenging conditions commonly found in industrial and structural settings.

Through hands-on practice and real-world scenarios, you’ll gain confidence in interpreting welding specifications, selecting suitable electrodes, and ensuring weld quality using Australian standards. Safety, quality control, and advanced welding setups are also key parts of this training.

By the end of the course, you’ll be able to produce advanced-level welds that meet job specifications and industry requirements.
